A note from Donna
One day I had a pivotal conversation with a good friend.
She was referred by another friend to a Life Coach. "What
is that?" I blurted out. I was skeptical...until I saw my
friend make changes in her life that she had merely
dreamed about for as long as I had known her.
Suddenly, I found myself asking the question again --
"What is a life coach anyway?" The more I researched the
more I saw in coaching a powerful way for we humans to
blossom! So I decided to put my experience to use in
helping people make strategic change in their lives.
That's all great, but who is she really?...
I am a closet artist/musician. Emphasis on "closet." I
enjoy painting, singing, playing the piano and other creative
pursuits. I don't have stellar talent in any of these areas,
but it is an outlet I love. My most enjoyable moments in
life are those spent with family and friends in joyful
uproarious laughter. Hang out with us once you'll see what
I mean!
That joy, even in the middle of trials or difficulties, comes
from the relationship I have with Jesus Christ -- He brings
such purpose to my life! He is the only one who loves my
soul down to depths that no human can reach. He fills me
completely. My relationship with Him impacts my
coaching approach in many ways.
The scoop...
Even so, I am still often afraid, prideful, stingy, I sometimes
forget to recycle (a mortal sin in Seattle), and sometimes I
go to bed with make-up on (They do it in the movies, right?
Somehow, I never look like them when I wake up...). I
have experienced some frightening traumas, made some
awful mistakes, and walked through some deep waters. I
have walked with others through some horrendous
experiences as well.
But one thing I know: seeing women blossom -- even in
the face of a crisis -- feeds my soul. I desire to see us
discover our gifts more deeply and learn how to victoriously
walk through tough decisions, living our lives confidently -
without hesitation. I desire for us to be proud of how we
handle difficult circumstances. I want to see us step out of
the comfortable and into the phenomenal.
I'm excited about what we can do in our families, our
community, our careers, our businesses, and how much
fun we can have! And....I'm grateful to be living a truly
surprising and wonderful life.
